Celine trained as a counsellor and psychotherapist with the Dublin Business School and has worked with adolescent and adult clients since 2005. She also completed Play Therapy and Art Therapy training and recognises the importance of being able to offer clients a variety of ways to express themselves. Celine has also trained in Sandplay Therapy (based on the theories of Carl Jung and Dora Kalff) and has seen how this gentle, but effective method of working, helps clients to heal at a deep level.
Celine currently works with clients aged 18 and over. Her approach is primarily person centred and aims to provide a safe, warm, non-judgmental space where clients can freely explore their concerns. She also offers mindfulness, relaxation techniques, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) techniques, according to her clients’ needs and preferences. Celine is a fully accredited member of the Irish Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (www.iacp.ie), attends regular supervision with an accredited supervisor to ensure her clinical work and professional standards are maintained. She regularly attends workshops and training as part of her Continuing Professional Development (CPD)
