Lindsay trained as a psychotherapist in UCD and ICHAS in Limerick. In addition to the above training she has completed several accredited courses in the areas of addiction, family systems, sexual trauma with the rape crisis centre, art and creative therapies, as well as continuous professional development workshops and courses as part of APCPs requirements.
Lindsay works with adolescents and adults in an integrative way, using a combined approach to counselling and psychotherapy. As each client presents with their own individual needs, Lindsay’s therapeutic approach is tailored to meet the needs of her clients. Lindsay adopts creative methods to psychotherapy also, especially for young clients as engaging with a therapist can sometimes be difficult for all ages especially minors.
Lindsay works with both short- and long-term clients. She sees clients with a variety of presenting issues such as addiction, anxiety, depression, stress, relationships, trauma (sexual trauma, childhood trauma etc.), identity and sexuality, suicide and self-harm.
