MIACP Supervisor Psychotherapist/Counsellor
Carole has been a practicing Psychotherapist/Counsellor and Supervisor in Dublin since 1998. She is an accredited member of the Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP). She has also been a member of the IACP Accreditation Committee.

The areas that Carole specialises in include: Depression, Anxiety disorders, Self-esteem issues, Confidence building, Bereavement, Phobias, Addiction/eating disorders, Anger management, Trauma, Relationship issues, Sexual abuse, Eating disorders, Psychosexual therapy, Menopausal mental health, Postnatal depression and Gender issues.

Carole is also a qualified Supervisor and supervises a wide range of Therapist’s, Psychologist’s, Counsellors, Psychotherapist, Guidance Counsellors and Student Counsellors.

Carole is an integrative therapist, which means she uses a variety of approaches to suit the client's needs, her methods include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).

According to the Irish Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapist (IACP),"Counselling and Psychotherapy can be of great support in times of crisis or change. It involves the provision of professional assistance to people who are experiencing personal issues, in order to help alleviate those difficulties". Carole offers caring, experienced assistance that can help you identify your problems and help you to find the best ways to cope and deal with them. This may involve changing behaviours that contribute to the problem or by finding constructive ways to deal with a situation that is beyond your personal control, to implement various methods to help you develop new attitudes towards all of life’s most complex matters to help you “re-frame” your reactions and provide you with valuable tools to cope.

Whether you’re an individual, a couple, a therapist, a clinical supervisor or trainee counsellor, the sessions are designed to strengthen your confidence , deal with your issues and assist you in the healing process.

She can guide you through the process of change and help you to implement various methods to develop a new attitudes towards life’s most complex matters.

CLINICAL SUPERVISION Clinical supervision is an opportunity to explore, learn, process and continue growing both personally and professionally as a Counsellor and Psychotherapist.

STUDENT / TRAINEE COUNSELLORS Carole welcome the opportunity to assist you through guidance in a supportive environment where you can learn, process, and become confidently prepared for your new journey as a Counsellor and Psychotherapist.

COUPLES THERAPY

In the therapy sessions, Carole will help you to work towards solving current problems and improve positive thinking and behaviour.
